Age 17 “Motel Ghoo”…on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

From the age of 15, I regularly stayed at “Motel Ghoo”, Caspian Sea’s first “holiday camp”, where I learned water skiing and swam the turquoise blue waters.

Being some 20 meters below the sea-level, Caspian Sea is the world’s largest lake.  It is home to many unique creatures which live in its’ waters.  Caspian Sea has been separated from other seas for millions of years, hence its’ unique marine life.  It is also the abode of Sturgeon fish (“Ozombroun”), which yields the world’s best caviar.

Many famous singers and musicians of the day performed in Neptune, the camp’s entertainment hall.  I learned a great deal from some of the regular band members.  At times, I would also climb the stage and sing Italian and Spanish numbers for my friends.  I was also the camp’s Rock & Roll champion, for several seasons.
